Who we are

The UNESCO Association for Interreligious Dialogue (AUDIR) is a Catalan non-confessional association (or, at least, multi-confessional). It brings together and mobilizes people from more than ten different religious traditions, and organizes activities which promote knowledge, dialogue and cooperation between the different religious confessions in Catalonia. This network of partners includes official representatives, experts, and qualified committed members. Nowadays, the association’s board of directors is constituted by one Protestant, one Muslim, three Buddhists, one Baha’i, one Catholic and one Unitarian.

The UNESCO Association for Interreligious Dialogue is a founding member of the United Religions Initiative, an international network of local interreligious initiatives. It is a member of the World Conference of Religions for Peace - Europe, and collaborates with the Council for a Parliament of the World’s Religions. The association belongs as well to the Catalan Federation of UNESCO Clubs and Associations.
