Why this section?

{mosimage} This section makes possible to gain access to information and reflection tools related with HIV/AIDS, and having as well a religious or spiritual aspect. We follow like this the legacy and the work of the extinguished “Fundació Dimensió SIDA” (1995-2000), as well as of its founder, the doctor Antoni Mirabet.

More precisely, we’d like to help people who live with the virus, or even their relatives and friends, to develop their spiritual capacities, but always respecting their particular religious origins. At the same time, we believe that such a task should be accompanied by a sincere open-minded attitude, by the understanding of the global problem that AIDS implies these days, in order to be able to make the society aware of the disastrous consequences of the pandemic at a Global level. 

Thus, we wish to promote sensitivity and compromise from the different religions, spiritual expressions and convictions in front of the disease. In this direction, the UNESCO Association for Interreligious Dialogue brings solidarity to ill people, through the personal care and spiritual support of an interreligious team.
